Water Resources Engineering

rcs water resources engineeringBy studying the movement, distribution, and quality of water and analyzing statistical properties of hydrologic records, our engineers are able to estimate future hydrologic phenomena. These calculated estimations are vital to investment decisions in future infrastructure and to determine the yield reliability characteristics of water supply systems. The professionals that comprise the RCS team have an extensive operational knowledge of the hydrology and hydrogeology of Florida, having worked on a wide variety of projects for both public and private clients. RCS personnel provide expertise in a wide variety of water resource engineering applications, including the design of treatment systems, local and regional scale computer modeling, monitoring plans, permitting, and planning.
RCS professionals are also experienced in designing water quality projects and retrofit water quality projects to meet water quality targets and proposed TMDLs.
Our professionals are proficient in a wide variety of industry-standard modeling software applications. In addition, RCS professionals are very experience with the modeling software used by various government agencies throughout the State of Florida (water management districts, FDEP, NRCS, etc.) To better serve our clients, RCS professionals continue their education to keep pace with new developments in software technology and government standards.
